Well, we sure bumped into one this afternoon !
It
was a bit like when Araldur was destroyed by Bygones Sovereign at Newbury, early
last month: Coolking was simply no match for Catching On at Exeter, this
afternoon.
In
fairness, unlike Bygones Sovereign, Catching On did have the potential to put in
a big performance – and unfortunately for us, that’s exactly what he
did.
It
was quite tough on Coolking, who bounced right back to form for his new
connections and ran a massive race.
He
was just very unlucky to bump into a horse who looked to have literally stones
in hand of his current mark – as were we, ofcourse !
These things happen…
As
for the days only mention, Somemotherdohavethem – well there was no bad luck
there, he just ran like a regressive horse.
I
couldn’t be interested in him, until he shows more than he did today.
